The organization Llars Compartides, which promotes a model of dignified aging in companionship for older people with low incomes, has joined the iSocial Foundation as a new member<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The iSocial Foundation continues to expand its network of member organizations with the incorporation of Llars Compartides<\/strong>, a non-profit entity that works to offer a stable, community-based and dignified housing alternative for older people with limited financial resources. With this addition, the Foundation now counts 22 member organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 2003, Llars Compartides aims to improve the quality of life of older people through a shared living model<\/strong> that fosters personal autonomy and dignity. Its mission is structured around three main goals: creating and maintaining permanent shared homes<\/strong>, promoting autonomy among older residents, and raising awareness about the challenges of aging in our society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, the organization manages 14 shared homes<\/strong> \u20149 in Barcelona and 5 in Badalona\u2014 where 56 older people live together<\/strong>. Residents are typically referred by social services or third-sector organizations. The model offers an<\/strong> innovative and community-based solution<\/strong> to the housing difficulties faced by many older individuals with low pensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By joining the iSocial Foundation, Llars Compartides brings valuable experience in alternative housing for older people<\/strong> and aligns itself with iSocial\u2019s collective project to drive innovation in social services<\/strong>. This partnership strengthens a shared commitment to transforming care models by placing people and their real needs at the center, through solutions that combine innovation and social impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this new addition, the iSocial Foundation welcomes an organization that offers a bold and transformative perspective on aging<\/strong>, and contributes to the growth of a network that promotes co-creation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among organizations and other stakeholders<\/strong> to improve the social services of the future.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
