22 professionals from iSocial organisations participate in the 1st InnoTrip in the Netherlands
For four days they visited innovative services and projects in the fields of disability, youth care, access to housing, mental health and community work.
Between 23 and 26 May 2023, the iSocial Foundation, with the support of the Department of External Action and Open Government of the Generalitat de Catalunya and ACCIÓ – Agency for the Competitiveness of Enterprise, has sent a delegation made up of a total of twenty-two representatives of its member organizations to the Netherlands in the framework of the first Innotrip.
The Innotrip is a new service that the foundation offers in the field of knowledge generation and exchange, aimed at professionals in management and/or related to the promotion of continuous improvement, which consists of fostering innovation through the discovery in situ of leading international experiences in the field of social action. The main objectives are the exploration of new ways of tackling common problems, the creation of potential synergies of an international nature and the strengthening of relations between member organizations.
The interest aroused by the Dutch system of care and social services, based on an accessible and quality model, with a high degree of public-private collaboration and many shared challenges, has made the Netherlands the chosen destination for this first edition of Innotrip.
The program of activities has been designed on the basis of the needs expressed by the member organizations, and is based on specific optional itineraries – Amsterdam, Utrecht, Apeldoorn and Helmond. Close coordination with the collaborating Dutch organizations and a pre-planning visit have been key in its elaboration. This included the discovery of innovative projects and initiatives in the fields of social housing, community development, social and labor inclusion or impact measurement and management, among others, through visits in different formats to the following non-profit organizations, social enterprises, federations and public bodies
