Platform that promotes the digitalization of social organizations and optimizes processes

SimbiòTIC functions as a platform to promote the digitalization of social organizations by facilitating the adoption of SinergiaCRM, software specifically designed to manage relationships with users and other social agents. This system allows organizations to have a comprehensive view of each person and their interactions, providing updated information that facilitates decision-making and the planning of social interventions.

In addition, SinergiaCRM optimizes key processes such as fundraising, communication, direct care, and grant management, all from a single space, encouraging the systematization of information and its use to improve the social outcomes of organizations.

Through this system, SimbiòTIC aims not only to improve the internal management of organizations but also to move towards establishing a common framework for data exchange with other social agents and public administrations, facilitating collaboration and interoperability among different institutions.

Genesis

The project is scheduled to be developed between 2023 and 2025, with the support and collaboration of seven federations of the Taula del Tercer Sector: the Catalan Federation of Social Volunteering, the Mental Health Federation of Catalonia, Dincat, the Federation of Entities with Projects and Assisted Housing, ECOM, ECAS, and Minyons Escoltes and Guies de Catalunya. These federations will participate in the implementation process of SinergiaCRM in around sixty grassroots organizations and will play a key role in defining additional functionalities that will benefit not only the organizations currently involved in the project but also those that join in the future.

Implementation level

According to Xènia Casanovas Díez, project manager in the Entity Support Area of SinergiaTIC, “the organizations that have joined the project value very positively the ability to have all or most of their data in one unified place.” Another aspect they highlight is the ability to adapt the tool to their needs from the start and the possibility of accessing data from anywhere, thanks to the fact that it is stored in the cloud.

Easy reading clubs to promote accessibility to culture

The Ampans reading clubs are weekly meetings where groups of people with different reading abilities read aloud and share impressions about easy-to-read books. This method, which follows a set of guidelines and recommendations related to text writing and design, aims to make information accessible to people with reading comprehension difficulties. In this sense, some sentences are simplified, and comparisons or metaphors that could create confusion are avoided.

The project is part of the “Network of Easy Reading and Cognitive Accessibility Clubs” program. Beyond the clubs, training activities related to accessibility in libraries and other culture-related initiatives have been carried out. A working group has also been created, made up of a multidisciplinary team that works to promote cognitive accessibility in the community.
