Microsoft provides advisory services to welfare agencies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa
Microsoft will be holding an informative meeting for Ministries from Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) engaged in the social services area in order to provide insights into how the digital transformation can help welfare agencies.
The event will be held on September 13 at the “Microsoft Executive Briefing Centre” (EBC) in Brussels and constitutes a unique opportunity to kindle customers’ imagination and promote promotion and speed with the help of personalised experiences in a cloud- and mobile-based world.

1st session in Sabadell of “Leadership and Innovation in Social Services”
On May 7th, the entire Social Services coordinator team of the Sabadell City Council, made up of 15 people, has begun the course of the iSocial Foundation “Leadership and Innovation in Social Services”. The course consists of 15 sessions of three hours, and will take place during the months of May and June.

Collaboration agreement with the Grífols Foundation to strengthen the ethical perspective of our projects
On February 12, 2019 the Social Foundation and the Víctor Grífols i Lucas Foundation have signed a collaboration agreement in order to strengthen the ethical perspective in the activities and research and innovation projects in the social sector that will promote the iSocial Foundation from now on.
Meeting of the Social Council at the new headquarters of the foundation
On January 10, 2019, the Social Council of iSocial Foundation met at its new headquarters, 151 Lepant St. in Barcelona. This modern, recently-open facility houses also La Casa de Carlota and a communication company. La Casa de Carlota is an innovative design studio which includes among its professionals, people with autism and with Down syndrome. 151 Lepant St. facilities are then, besides an office space, also a creative space and an art gallery.
First online tool to facilitate citizens’ access to social benefits
The City Council of Barcelona has put into operation by the end of 2018 a simulator that allows anyone to know the social aids to which they have the right, in an anonymous manner and regardless of the Administration that manages them. The system calculates the aid that can be requested and an estimate of the amount, and also explains how to process them.
